At DigimonCon 2023, the manga team revealed that they’re hosting a Digimon Manga Award competition for Digimon fans of all ages. Unfortunately it is in Japan only, but it was so exciting to hear that a lucky Digimon fan gets the chance to write their official Digimon story. I wish those in Japan luck for the competition.
As for the rest of the people who want to write, what kind of Digimon story do you want to see as a manga? For me, I would have the story of a high school student who is the wielder of the Omega Katana known as “Danketsu” who joins the Digi-Guardians on their mission to protect their world and save the digital world. His partner is Meicrackmon: Vicious Mode, who joins him later on in the story to defeat yggdrasil and becomes part of the team in the aftermath.
