Did you know that some Digimon have different evolutionary levels across different media? The original Digimon World has some interesting cases, with Digimon such as Hououmon, or Herakle Kabuterimon being Perfect (Ultimate) Level due to that game being developed during a time in which the Ultimate (Mega) Level didn't exist yet. The same is true for Saber Leomon and Holydramon, in Digital Monster Ver S. This game also depicts some Digimon like Shakomon, Ebidramon, Minotarumon and Mechanorimon being Perfect (Ultimate) Level.
Other media such as Digimon World: Digital Card Arena, Digimon World 3, or Digimon Savers Another Mission also depict some Digimon in different evolutionary stages than most of the other media.
Do you know other cases of this? Do you consider these examples as retcons, or simply versions of that Digimon that are in a different stage (such as Whamon who's both an Adult and Perfect level).
Yeah i notice its as well when I first play the Vpet in 97 Whamon was in Champion level n in the anime versions appear suddenly Whamon became Ultimate Level! Some of the Digimon level not consistent among other platform!!
I remember noticing this because of Drimogemon turning into a rookie. It's one of various ways one can use Digimon, changing evolution stages for the context, minor as it may be, is fine by me
