I'm in the process of making various things, but overseas fans have come for the first time in a long time, and this "DigiTalk" has become more exciting. That's why I made an image of the Reference Book as a joke to provide a topic.
I don't know much about WonderSwan overseas information, but I would be grateful if you could tell me here.
(This sentence is a machine translation sentence, so it may be strange.)
The Wonderswan never released in America as it was overshadowed by the Game Boy (both were made by Gunpei Yokoi which I always found strange). As such the Ryo games aren't as well understood here, it also doesn't help that their story is complicated and is hard to fit into the anime canon. I want to know more about them, but it is so hard as an American fan!
There has been a fan blog with a translation of the games (and also fanarts) that speak about the plot and even translate lines of text from the game, tho I don't remember where that site was, it was a nice walkthrough of all the games.
It's sad that due to this overshadowing people just say that Zeed dying in Adventure 2020 is a good thing.
Overseas, we never had the chance to play or even have the wonderswan do to the product being Japan-Only.
However, theres a lot of legal documentation that states that we could have had the wonderswan in North America, but do to a legal issue, the papers went missing and also the licensing got cancelled.
