I hope it goes somewhere like Appmon did, having the first half of the series be more fun and the rest with more development and serious tone. Anyway I'm happy with what we are getting, I'm hopeful with the future of this series

I personally have high hopes for this series. I assume it¡s going to become darker as the plot progresses, and we will probably get to see a catharsis with each of the main characters. As for now, I can tell the character development is outstanding in GG and all main characters are Digimon partners are very likeable.

I suspect that since Gammamon has a very savage evolution, Hiro may have real trouble talking to his little bro when it happens. I wouldn't be surprised if this form ends going into a rampage and not even his friends can do much except for fighting and hoping that he reverts back to normal.

Perhaps, we will have some character development episodes?

I hope something cool happens anyways, the explanations of episode 9 where pretty good and managed to clear some doubts from a lot of people.

Still it would have been better if Clockmon actually died in the end, to serve as some lesson to the main characters that you can't save or be a pacifist with everyone.
Probably they might do something like that in later episodes.
